Jordan Light Vehicle Manufacturing (JLVM) is one of Jordan Investment Group JIG an affiliate of Jordan Design & Development Bureau (JODDB), established in 2003 to design, develop, manufacture and market Tactical, specialized and protected vehicles for Armed forces , law enforcement, non-governmental organizations and other customers worldwide, working closely with clients to ensure their requirements on safety, customization, and cost effectiveness are met.

 
JODDB is an independent government entity within the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) aiming at becoming a global defense and security research and development hub in the region. The Bureau’s scope of work includes Defense Design and Development, Test and Evaluation, Technology Incubation in the Kingdom, and Defense Technology Training.

JLVM is specialised in developing special purpose vehicles built on commercially available chassis.  The main production lines range from soft skin and special purpose vehicles to fully armoured and Special Internal Security Vehicles (ISVs), in addition to 4x4 utility vehicles, Long Range Patrol Vehicles (LRPV), Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs), Ambulances, to mobile medical solutions.

The products of JLVM are customer driven, where the production strategy followed by the company is “Build to Order” and “Engineer to Order”, while insuring best operational practices and the highest armouring standards. The vehicles of JLVM are operated in more than 35 countries all over the world.

Our Facilities

JLVM is located on an area of approximately 40,000m² at JODDB Industrial Park

(Industrial Gate Free Zone). The facility encompasses multi production lines, a well-equipped off-line production area, warehouses and the administration building.

Jordan Light Vehicle Manufacturing Company is Specialized in the Manufacturing And Supply of light vehicles related to defensive and Civilian applications.

The Policy of JLVM is to provide a World Class Quality Product to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction and within customer budget. To achieve this objective, JLVM provides all the necessary recourses and training to enable production lines and staff to carry out excellent work.

JLVM Emphasizes that Quality, Environment and O&HS is the responsibility of all employees and the Management is committed to a Policy of Continuous Improvement.

And ensures that all staff is familiar with and work to the company's written procedures to comply with GSM and ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 standard.

The Environment & Occupational Health & Safety policy of JLVM is committed to the environmental and occupational health and safety issues and compliance obligations fulfillment in all of its business activities by adopting polices that protect and preserve environment and natural resources as will the employees’ health and safety through its manufacturing process, operations and all of its activities and to work promptly to prevent/correct incidents or conditions that causes danger to surrounding environment and local community, and  prevention of injury and ill health for the employees as per the scope identified in JLVM Quality Manual.

  to achieve this objective:

  • All JLVM employee, subcontractors and strategic partner work to meet environment & Occupational Health & Safety legislations and other environment & Occupational Health & Safety requirement.
  • Promote protection of the environment, including the prevention of pollution (by recycling, safe residues disposal and preserve the natural resources).
  • Promote the reduction and prevention of accidents
  • Review and monitor the continual improvement of Environment & Occupational Health & Safety system and its policies and objectives to enhance environmental performance and comply with ISO 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 standard.
